Delete your Afrobox account
You can delete your account and the data linked to it at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
In the Afrobox app
- 1Open the app and sign in.
- 2Go to your Profile and tap Edit profile.
- 3Tap Delete account and confirm.
On the website
- 1Sign in at web.afrobox.africa.
- 2Open Settings → Account actions.
- 3Choose Delete account and confirm.
Can't sign in?
Email support@afrobox.africa from the email address or with the phone number on your account, and write “Delete my account”. We confirm it is your account and delete it within 7 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, username, photo, cover photo, bio, email address and phone number
- Your posts, photos, videos and stories
- Your comments, likes, follows, searches and notifications
- Your creator details, ID documents and creator packages
- Your login sessions on every device
This happens immediately when you delete your account in the app or on the website.
What we keep
- Records of payments, subscriptions, coin purchases and withdrawals, which we must keep for accounting and legal reasons
- Messages you sent to other people stay in their chat history
Unused coins and wallet balances are lost when you delete your account, so withdraw any earnings first.
